That quote was from a psychologist, sounds very familiar but I can't remember the name either Yes, kids are even easily influence by their peers. Just take elementary school as an example : why certain kids are bullied by a group.. if anyone can recall events in their childhood from it.. I can remember, children easily conform to hate a target.
I agree, it gives them incite on other views and not just one view... (religion for example ) some people just need to think more rationally I believe these courses help to do so.. in a way
that is very true country...I happened to see a local klan rally a few years ago in which little kids were holding klan flags and wearing masks...it was a sad day for those kids.
I don't raise my kid to hate. She will make up her own mind. But I also don't believe in being a liar and so politically correct, that my daughter gets confused. She has never asked me about my opinion on Islam for example, and I'm not quite sure what I would tell her if she did. But if the questions are right and targeted about it, I will tell the truth and then tell her to please make up her own mind ...
