    hello,

i get some hits from google. at the moment i only have 2 ads on my websites

    if i put:

    2 more ads of chitika
    2 more ads of widgetbucks

will put me in a bad rank at his search engine and send me less hits?

    thnx,

They shouldn't. If they did it would be evil of them.

no, but...a good ranking in google needs people to link to your site, and if you have too many ads it can put people off linking to you...
so in the long term it can count against you

It does bring down the quality of the site a lot so unless your content is extremely high quality and unique I think you're at risk of getting lower rankings.. not sure how Google controls rankings but just think about it this way, would users be satisfied browsing sites with more ads than content?

The less ads that make you good money the better. Work on content for site to get more traffic with fewer ads and you will be better off.

Just make sure you don't overfill your site with ads. I'm sure you understand why. I believe Google wouldn't do anything to you if you put ads on it, after all it is your web site. Make sure that your content is good and that there is a lot of it :)

WidgetBucks won't penalize your site SERPs wise. Affiliate links could do it though.

Putting more ads has nothing to do with your site rank. But there is one small thing, and thats the Load Time for your site. Putting more ads means, your site loading time will increase. Anyway, its not a big problem.

Ads on site don't have conexion with SERP position

They might inffluence the PR if you have dofollow links to many but who cares about PR anyway ...

Ads on a website do not have a connection with the position in the SERPS. the only relation there is that a website with too many ads may get less links and because of that get less links. In general though: if you only have less than a thousand visitors a day, invest in getting more visitors before worrying about optimizing your ads.

Your visitors may stay shorter time on your site which will bring your ranks down. Eventually google doesn't care what ads are you using and how much.

No but your traffic might not like it so much if it looks spammy
