    Why not?
    Because it's advertising, not link-building or SEO.
    It will have no effect on your organic listings whatsoever.

    I may add another "No, really not"...although it helps getting pages spidered by the "normal" bot, since it always seems to appear shortly after the adwords bot, but that doesn't mean anything for ranking.
