blogger to my new site.I have redirected my old blog to new site too. Will penalize my site for duplicate contents? If so, how to avoid this?
In Google webmaster it shows 35 pages are indexed from my site. It's not indexing old site posts..

    Hi there!

Google will not penalize for duplicate content like that, I believe it is mostly a hyped fear for a Google penalty that only aplies to the true spammers when they are actually launching multiple websites with the same content to get more chance to get indexed with one of their duplicate websites.

If you run a blog and happen to be unable or forget to forward it to the new location and you copy the content, it is no problem at all, aldough you may want to forward the old location (using a 301 redirect) so that visitors that are looking for the information from the old posts, will see your new website and Google is able to change their links to you to the new locations.

Google is not at all a punishing system, that will provide punishments to control your behaviour. You are completely free to do whatever needed to serve your users in the best way. If you need to create duplicate content for it for some reason, it is no problem at all. Google will determ via the normal evaluation systems how they should rank those duplicate pages.

For your own sake it would ofcourse be best to forward an old location to the new location using a 301 (Moved Permanently), since the old location might be considered more popular and valuable then the new location so that the (duplicate) content on your new location will be suppressed by your old indexed content and you would be competing with yourself, and possibly lose from your old website. However, that has nothing to do with a 'penalty' or punishment.

When you redirected your old site to the new site, G will know that you have moved the contents and will not penalize you for it. It will take ~ 3 to 6 months for G to catch up and by then, the new site will be indexed.

Remove any of the old pages that still show up using Webmaster Tools if needed.

You must use Redirect to the new site or google will think the new site has copied content from the blog.
If the blog is not in google index will not be a problem.
