Will Google let me link multiple sites to a single site?

    Hi all,

My 1st post here and I tried searching for an answer to this but couldn't find it so maybe you all could help me this.

I have several sites with the same name but different extensions (site.com, site.net, site.org, etc) but want them all to point to site.com. Site.com will be the only site that I plan on putting adsense & other ads on, but I also want to utilize the others.

Will it be okay to have .net, .org and the others mention a little something about the product and have a link to the main .com?

ie "Welcome to site.net. Info about 1st product. For more info, visit site.com"

Or should I just forget about utilizing the others? I will post the same question on several webmaster forums because I'd like to know everyone's opinions and experience. Thanks all.

I plan on putting adsense on the site, but I don't know if Google will allow me to do what I'm trying to do above.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. I was gonna put it in the Domain forum, but I didn't know if that was right either.

If this is in the wrong section, could one of the mod please move it to the correct one. Thanks.

It's not against the TOS. There is little benefit to doing this other than protecting a brand identity. You won't get a ranking boost.

Yeah, just a side not if you own a network of sites all hosted in the same place and link them together you will get penalized.

Google will not having any problem in doing this and this is not against adsense TOS conditions.

This is true to a certain extend. A couple of links from same hosting doesn't matter because it looks naturally. But, if you are linking 100 sites together, then this is equivalent to a link farm. It is not against Adense TOS but it will get your site out of the SERPs if Google detects this.
