yes. To speed up the process, get a few backlinks. Submit site to google, submit sitemaps. Cheers.

Yes, there are two types to get a site indexed. One is blackhat and other is whitehat. Whitehat is just simple, submit your sitemap in google webmaster tools, and wait for google to index, to speed up process, get your website noticed in other high pr sites, you will get fast index.

It's same, just get some links and your new site will be indexed soon

Google will index it the same way, but will rank it different way
Domain age is a factor too on google SERP rank( not a big factor though )

Try submitting your site to Digg. Then try making a PDF or two with general information and a link to your site, then uploading it to Scrib.

It's what I always used to do when I wanted to see a new blog indexed in Google when I was working with Blogger a lot.

i don't think the age of domain or site is affecting indexing but frequency of content refreshing, the quality and size of content do

the thing matters is the uniqueness of your content, the sites with unique content get indexed very fast does't matter site is new or old. so with new domain you should come up with unique content and nothing to do more.

offcourse.... But you need to place the url of your site in many directories. Free directories is fine, try to social bookmarking, put you site in some forums with high PR, etc. And don't forget add your link at google, yahoo and MSN add url service. Try googlre search engine for that.

Yes, Google will crawl the new site as a other one. You can also create XML sitemap & submit it to Google Webmaster tool to get quick result...

Google treats all websites the same and although the older domains, due to their ages and links strengths, might be stronger than the newly launched ones, but even if a new site is set up today, through quality SEO practices, within some months it could reach the top spots on Google pages. Links and contents are the valuable assets these days and can help even brand new sites.

Google treats new site just like old site. To index fast your site first submit your site in Google. After that create xml sitemap & submit it in to Google webmaster tool.

Simple answer is to wait and get some quality back links sometimes it take long. Back links are fuel of SEO and search engine tends to index pages with high volume of quality back links more quickly. In addition to that also get search engine crawler off and on your website. Do some activities on your website like changing anchor text or some other text. This will make SE think that your website is more alive and they will index it quickly. Also submit your website to Google.if you have done it already then don't submit link to search engines again and again.
