I was just wondering, lets say you have a simple review page that promotes a product.
In my opinion review pages should be kept small and straight to the point to generate more sales.
Lets say that you start building a lot of backlinks and work on SEO so that you will show up on google's first page.

Do you think that google will hesitate to put your site on its first page for certain keywords since it does not provide a lot of content?

Google likes to index sites with a lot of original content. The best approach with the review site is probably to have a short review near the top of the page, and a longer review that adds to the original review (not just a longer rehash) either further down the page, or on additional linked pages. Have your call to action near the top of the page, however.

As long as it's relevant, google (generally) doesn't care how much content is on any other pages of the site. Pages are ranked on a per-page basis, and some of the most profitable high ranking sites are very, very tiny.
