I think I read somewhere that the google spider does not follow certain types of reciprocal links you might have on other websites.. can any of you guys tell me if people put this type of link on their website, if google will be able to follow this link and thus give me page rank credit for it? http://www.mywebsite.com/cgi/toplist/in.cgi?id=jimmy p.s. basically I am running one of those top100 sites (autorank pro), so i will have hundreds of websites linking to my top 100 website through the type of link you see above... but will google give me page rank credit for this.. that is the question..
Technically Google will allow a link to have 3 parameters before deciding that it's a form submission or similar. In this case it may ping you for duplicate content since http://www.mywebsite.com/cgi/toplist/in.cgi?id=jimmy http://www.mywebsite.com/cgi/toplist/in.cgi?id=sammy probably have the same content. But yes, it should be a good link. Sarah
