Will they come up with filters that would make them confident enough to award clicks as and when they happen, or will they always need to verify accounts before awarding the clicks. Google has done a great job at eradicating click fraud and somepoin in the future they may have something in place to stamp it out altogether.
I agree -- If there is money to be made on the user end, people will always attempt to circumvent the flaws in the system. Google will never let things be auto credited to your account, or be more lax than they are now. Things will get tighter, before they get more loose
Am.. I don't understand you pretty well? Do you think that there is no real time stats (as consequence), because they are checking frauded clicks? I don't beleive they are checking this, I think that their system has got "alarms" and where there can be something wrong (I think also that their ALGO found most of fraud clicks), then they will do check what is on "by hand".
Over time they notice repetitive nature in click fraud and are able to put a stop to it using automated proceedures but new ways to get around the system are constantly being created as well so it's a never ending battle. So my guess is adsense click crediting is getting more automated but it will never be 100% automated.
As long as there is money to be made in PPC business, click fraud will be around and while software will help people will find ways around the software just like SPAM.
They are obviously using the automated stsyem. Its just that before banning somoene, they will check it manually. Do you seriosly think they award each and every click after manual checking.. haha.. yes, click fraud is here to stay.. The question is to bring it down to reasonable levels.
