I have heard about link farming and linking my own domains in the same class C ip address range, but I am not sure if this fall under link farming or whatever that violates Google's TOS. So I'd be glad, if some one could explain it in detail. I run a web design and web hosting site, and I have designed and developed several websites for my clients. All those sites I have designed are hosted on my server, i.e they share the same IP address. In all those sites I designed, I have placed a site-wide footer link saying something like "Site designed by my webdesign company" and linking it to my main website which is on the same server. So the problem now is, for the past few days I have been thinking whether google would penalize any of the sites or my main website.
