Will Google Chrome OS be the Windows killer

No one can beat windows so easily, windows xp is the mostly used OS in the world and people are thrilled when windows released, which means Microsoft makes the best OS, that say everything.

 

I can see this being used as a dual boot on many peoples machines.

If it boots up as quick as Google claims then it is ideal for light surfing in the evenings when you just want to check email/new/shares etc.

For anything more serious I think windows will still be king for a long time.

 

People do use Linux and the best thing about it is it has been use for server OS for a long time beating Windows 2003 or 2008.

When the new OS come out, for sure ppl will use it and test it to the max. Google is a not a small company which dont have expertiese in this area. If they plan to release on something like new OS im preety sure they already plan it for along time and more research has been done to make it happen.

Ppl dont wanna change to a new OS because the some limitation like cannot run a certain software, games and so on. If google make this as thier 1st priority I think they can beat Microsoft in just 5 years

 

i guess chrome os is mostly hype right now. only time will tell if it can compete with windows.

 

Just wait for the first beta release, i'm quite certain of the fact that Chrome will blow everyone away

 

I think this will be a real threat to MS, not right at this moment, but a few years ahead.
