There is a new toolbar for google "Google Chrome", which is a different way of viewing search pages, compared to the current way.

Will this affect our rankings? webpage rankings in google?

any are you speaking from evidence?

You should have not asked that question in the first place and now that you have asked it here is the answer. NO

Google Chrome is a browser and is not remotely associated with SEO. I am wondering what made you think that they are interrelated. I would appreciate if you could shed more light on it??

It is just a browser just like fire fox and IE. So there is no affect of it in ranking.

it wont affect the ranking unless google will make a new algorythm that only apply to Chrome. but that's not going to happen soon.

Hey, as far as I know, this is a forum so it's made to ask question. This one seems obvious but not to the OP so it is their right to ask question without someone being rude in response.

Right, it won't affect any rankings...but "just a browser"? It's alot more, since there is alot of stuff built in that allows google to monitor your surfing and collect data, even if it's anonymized.

as all said its just a browser, so it wont effect. but i see a good point in it.
google might have done engineering or code something, in the browser which could track visitors or users.
they might use it with their algorithm.
