will google buzz beat twitter?

Everyone knows that google buzz is pretty much like twitter..
So, will it be able to beat twitter or not?
What you say?

 

Yeah Google Buzz will beat Twitter but it will take atleast 5+ years to do so.
Reasons:
1. Twitter has more than thousands of Applications, Web clients and Desktop Clients used by Millions of people but Google Buzz doesn't.
2. Privacy is the major factor which lacks in Google Buzz.
3. There are thousands of ways for Retweeting but Google buzz doesn't have.
There are many more reasons. We can explore them one by now. So far i have found these.

 

Lol.. the reason you gave means google buzz will not beat twitter. i think you want to say that buzz will never beat twitter.

 

Time will tell that. But google Buzz needs time to settle.

 

Everything Google puts out is second rate, so I would be surprised if they are ever #1 in anything except search.

it has the advantage of coming into the appl from gmail so i think it has the capacity to gain market share fast...

I think it depends if google come out with an API. Also if google makes it easy to find and meet other buzz users.

IMO twitter is pretty useless so it would be easy to beat them.

google buzz take time for develop as pretty like twitter.Because twitter is sustain upto 5 years and more old. It has numbers of clients and applications.So change way of clients to google it such difficult.

 

I believe Google Buzz is going to set up a benchmark in terms of Social Media Marketing. Twitter has a competitive advantage as its system has easy access to other application on the Web and covers a large pool of users.

It is just a matter of time of Google incorporating a larger number of people for Google Buzz. We need to remember that Google is incorporating its existing gmail users as part of the Buzz Community so that is a very good start for them.

LOL! It's only a matter of time before we see idiots promoting themselves as Goog Buzz marketing experts.

 

It surely will grow but who knows the end.

 

It will never " beat " twitter.

 

It will get a lot of users since it is integrated into Gmail. Not sure how many people are going to use it though.
It wont beat twitter anytime soon, but maybe somewhere down the line it might.

 

Google tend to dominate in their goals, so only time will tell.

 

NO, I expected from Google to buy Twitter, but they are probably sick of those big prices everyone asks when they are in question.

 

It's hard to add people it sucks

 

That didn't stop microsoft's domination. Just because it's second rate doesn't mean it won't overtake twitter. Google will just make it so integrated with stuff you already use and eventually find a way to force twitter out.
