I sell my original product and advertise it in Adwords. I am not affiliate and donot do any spam. Will Google ban my account? I hear that Google ban little producer and even ban EzineArticles. What are your situations?
This Guy has no ideas what he is talking about. Google will never shut you down for advertising your own product, in fact, Google prefers that kind of advertising vs affilate advertising
elkhra, I'm sure that Google will ban your account in the not far future if you are an affiliate, but not sure about producer. No nonsense please. We should not blame Google. It's not a good thing if there are lots of duplicated or useless information in search engine.
Interesting responses here. As a merchant you are less likely to be banned than as an affiliate, because your offering is not 'duplicate.' If your product violates their TOS all bets are off however. As the merchant, you'll want to promote it directly, and not use a clickbank affiliate link redirect, as Google really hates those. The problem with many Clickbank products is they fit into several categories the AdWords compliance team hate: paid versions of products/information that is readily available for free; 'scams' or unethical products such as get rich quick schemes and forex; and the cardinal sin of so many Clickbank sales pages: Excessive Scrolling. Yes, excessive scrolling is a factor that I have seen in landing page slaps numerous times before
Pages that are exceptionally long... the way many Clickbank sales pages are. Where users scroll through dozens of testimonials, features, screenshots, etc in a linear fashion. I've seen both AdWords and AdCenter shut off campaigns due to this before. Some scrolling is obviously fine... but when a sales page starts making you scroll 10 times the standard height of the screen, you've got a problem
