Hello friends, i am using RSS submitter for submitting to rss directories , it is a site not a blog and using feedburner url for submission, will it hurt or not (i mean will it be better to use or stop using it), as i am using RSS for my new written content page for getting indexed in google.

Please help me out in this regard, thanks in advance.

I run a blog host and some users use rss while others add new 'real' posts on a regular basis.

Looking at the stats, the ones that use Rss don't really do well at all, they hardly get any visitors from Google/Yahoo/MSN
While the ones that write new entries are ,(somewhat), popular.

So my guess is that Google will not ban you, but they won't rank you well as they will see duplicate comments.

I think they know the difference between RSS entries and a brand new entry.

Surely I agree with that, but I am using it for a SITE not for a BLOG, just to index newly written content page. I would like to know because of this RSS will google consider less importance to my site ? , mean while I am doing link building separately for that particular new pages.

Sorry you are 100% right, I mis-read your post totally.

I was talking about blog entries rather than website entries.

Rss, is only for users so that they can keep track of any new development on the site (new post). It has no effect on ads displayed. Thus no banning.
