Will Google AdSense remain the #1 PPC Ad Network Or Another Network will BEAT It?

Google AdSense is the #1 PPC Ad Network Now, No one can deny that but the question is: Will Google AdSense Still The #1 Ad Network or another network will take its place ... Share your prediction with us!

I think It'll be hard to predict what will happen after a long time, but I can predict for the coming 5 years ... Moreover, this is my prediction:

I think Google AdSense will still the #1 PPC Ad Network for the coming 5 years because of many reasons like:

    • Advertisers prefer Google AdWords than any other network; If you made a little search on the web, you'll find many Ad Networks than you can advertise on with a fraction of the money you'll pay for AdWords but Advertisers like to deal with Google AdWords, This means that they trust them than any other network and for sure they will not easily switch to another network.

    • Advertisers pay AdWords not only to show their Ads in AdSense Publishers Websites but also to show their Ads in Google Search Results, So, To beat Google AdSense you must have a Search Engine in the same level of Google, and even Yahoo! Is not as popular as Google as a Search Engine and their Ad Network, YPN, is not as good as AdSense for Publishers or Advertisers.

    • Publishers like Google AdSense for many reasons like that they pay highly than any other network and have millions of Ads, So, Publishers, like me, will not switch to another network ... Unless they pay me more than my $4000 average monthly revenue for my websites network.

    • Publishers like Targeted Ads that meets their website content and Google AdSense has millions of ads that will be related to your website content even if your website is about "Rabbit Racing", You'll find many Ads related to your content ... So, To beat AdSense you must have so many Advertisers and Ads and this will not happen easily or quickly at all.

    • Google AdSense system is very powerful and any publisher try to cheat the system will get his account banned in less than a month and his money will go back to the advertisers.
This was my prediction ... Share yours with us!

I think adsense will stay #1 for the simple fact that it is one of the first words you will hear when you look online to try to monetize a website

adsense will be #1 for a long time until another company has the money and resources to compete with them.

I hope Yahoo! or MSN will develop a better ad network and beat Adsense hard.

I would like to see some diversification for sure. It's not good to depend on one company as we all are right now. There is no REAL alternative to adsense if we limit our views to ppc publishing (affiliate marketing can be 500% more lucrative, but that is not a ppc model). It would be really nice to see MSN evolve or yahoo would finally get out of beta. I think they have broken all world records with the time they are spending in the beta stage.

AdBrite was NOT and will never be The #1 PPC Ad Network.

We can't even compare it with Google AdSense

AdSense is no 1 and it will remain in number 1 position for a long time, only Yahoo+MSN can threat this position if they come together.

Google is the king of the net... youtube, blogger, adsense, adwords, feedburner, google search and many others are owned by google.

So, there might be small players but king will never be reduced to the second position

Google is free and everybody trust them too... they do not have such huge parameters too which restrict you .. so it will remain no 1 for sure

I think that the OP Eyad Nour is spot on.
    Why?
I think that Google is very selective when hiring, so they end up with the best people. Google relies on the carrot to inspire their workers, whereas M$ relies on the stick. The "Beat them into submission" attitude never works as well as inspiration does.

And then there is the corporate culture, which results from upper management leadership (or lack of it).
Google: "What should we do, folks." (bottom up management - best decisions)
M$: "Get it done, or we will fire you." (top down management - poor decisions)
Yahoo: "Don't do anything, someone might notice." (no management - no decisions - cya mentality)

Am I wrong? You are never going to unseat the top dog, unless you emulate their winning ways. Both M$ and Yahoo are not doing that. I think that the proposed buyout of Yahoo would be a disaster. Since both are clueless, combining them would result in even more massive cluelessness, and more political infighting. They couldn't even do Step 1 - get together. How could they do anything else?

And the "beta" thing. Beta usually means a period during which things are changed in the process of perfecting them. Yahoo and M$ don't seem to be changing much of anything. The only changes we see from YPN are negative. And M$ PPC for publishers DOESN'T EVEN EXIST yet! I mean, come on! What are they doing up there in Redmond? After years, they still have nothing. Unbelievable.

That is true Surf_Dude...Google employees are treated like they staying at five star hotel.

No PPC network will ever stomp Google, the best any company can hope for is a bigger share of the market. I wouldn't mind diversifying my earnings with other companies, but neither Microsoft, Yahoo, or Adbrite offer the targeted ads that Google does.

Google pioneered paid search and ppc

I don't think that a company can beat them soon.

They were recently voted the no1 recognised brand in the world.
Microsoft has invested till now $6 billion, but still only have 10% market share in a distant
    3rd place

    :)

    Google - highly targeted ads
    Yahoo - random ads
    M$ - no ads
AdBrite - adult ads, even when you specify NO ADULT ADS. Their genius "targeting" overrides your specific instructions. Never again.
