    Maybe, if someone is coming with something better than FB. Change is the universal rule.
    As the Orkut was faded away once FB was born. So maybe there are the chances or maybe not if the FB keeps on reinventing itself (they do so). For justifying my statement, I can give the example of Nokia. Nokia was the ruling giant in the mobile phone industry, but they failed to upgrade themselves and also failed to change as per the time. So maybe... You never know

    Youtube is going to launch 'youtube community' where customers can share texts, photos etc like how we do in facebook or google+. This will be going to be big competitor to facebook. However both these are thriving like anything :)

    Probably. Look how hot MySpace was, and now is shrunken down, Twitter rocked on for a while, but has petered out, for the most part, even if they are trying to reinvigorate themselves.
    Facebook won't fade quickly, but have a lingering death.

    It all depends on the whims of the people and how easily they can be lead away to the next shiny object.

    I would say Yes, just it takes time for users to find the new replacement platform.

    Before Google is born, people used to say Yahoo! Search engine will never be replaced.
    Before Facebook is born, people used to say Friendster or Orkut will never be replaced.

    A lot of people are migrating from facebook to a similar sites called minds they are mainly doing this switch because of facebook sharing information and they dont have encrypted messages how ever minds does have encrypted messages and use of fake names they allow you to use a boost feature but I don't see Facebook being replaced as of now.

    True regarding Twitter but FB owns Instagram and they will likely buy out any major competition or at least buy rights to new technologies so they can integrate into FB to keep it relevant for years to come.
