Don't think the manager matters too much, the players need to get their act together...I think they'll just scrape through.

I think even with the new manager the decision is up in the air..So I am going to have to cast my vote as a NO on this one...:( But hopefully they prove me wrong and the new manager helps pull them along as a team.

Yes, they'll scrape it - they always do. And then go on to lose in the later stages to some fluke deflection/penalty shootout after outplaying a much stronger side. Some things never seem to change ;)

    as we know,
now they have a problem with ambrovich,
so i think it's a good time to take maurinho as a new manager for england...

The only way England can improve is by dropping Lampard!

England are next to useless because the coach lives in, and wants the team to play as though it was game never played before

Totally without any inventive or creative idea
The word I am looking for
    USELESS

All the recent failures prove that David Beckham is not the problem! Bring him back to the team!

    Remaining games :

    at home
    Israel
    Russia
    Estonia

    away
    Andorra
    Estonia
    Croatia
    Russia

England are five points behind leaders Croatia, and three behind Russia. I expect them to beat Estonia and Andorra. Israel should be packed off when you play at home. That leaves the Croatia and Russia games, for which I can't predict the result.

They need to raise their game. What's their problem. Surely it's a huge honour and privilege to represent your country?

Doesn't matter who they play against, if they go on like this, no EURO2008. And truly they don't deserve to be there.

It's truth. I think Russia will show itself, on the account Croatia it's more unpredictable.

Stop playing ppl out of positions, Carragher at left back ? Lennon on the left of midfield! Haven't you learnt anything from SAF whilst you were here..

Just play a 4-4-2 with strongest positional players even though if it means baines at left back and Gareth barry on the left flank, it just lends balance to the team. Its not rocket science.... old Mac!
