and online using firefox web developer toolbar which has direct links to the various validation stes

4. get the Forum lists of related category and start the forum posting
5. link building with related category
6. Blog posting with quality content
7 write the Articles and post in high ranking Article directories

I think yes. Every single count of backlinks have a little effect on your ranking. Once the little are combined, it becomes big.

Praveen, yes directory submission done at smaller scale should help you. NO need of submitting to 1000 directories in one go. Do it slowly and only in quality directories. You can get a nice list of directories from here.
