One year from now Cuil will become one of the top search engines in the world. Just wait, you'll use them more then Google...

They are new, you have to give them time to get their search engine running properly. I hate Google quite a bit and use their search way more then Google, Yahoo being my favorite though...

Just wait, Cuil will soon reign to be "the" best search engine. Within 10 years Google will be shut down due to being a monopoly, they will probably get out of it although they will be split up and have Google as the parent company.

Now is too late to create and compete in search engines... If anyone can do it, it would have been done way back. That's my opinion

Cuil was developed and is run by a team of ex-Google developers. And there's a reason they're ex-developers.

Where did it go wrong? The unnatural three column display, the two column display that leaves half your screen blank, the stunning lack of preferences, the nonsensical and sometimes seemingly random images displayed next to each link, the 'Explore by Category' feature that's more often than not just plain irrelevant.

It's radically new, in a bad way. There's no good reason for _anybody_ to switch except to "support the underdog". I don't care _how_ many pages you've got indexed - the search results are simply not as relevant. Unless this key fact changes, Cuil will go nowhere fast.

In a year I think Cuil will be dead - still on the web, I believe (I don't think the developers will shut it down or anything), but not visited. It generated a small media blitz (especially with the ex-Google developer thing) but once you take away that, as of now, Cuil has nothing.

Dude, if your in the biz ads area, you will get to know those are called commercial movie ads. Big company pays movie production also to include their brand in the movie. Example: Transformer~ Ebay paid them. If you can see thats why there are a lot of Ebay hypes in it.;)
Then again I would agree that cuil will not go anywhere. My site isn't touched at all and in Google there are authorities!!:mad:

I dont think people are so much as interested in quantity as they are with quality. In my opinion the future of search is more hands on and community driven. Quil offers nothing new from what i saw, but apparently they have more crawled pages than Google

Depending on what features they add for users on the search engine. Google has had its time being king, but like in history, another takes it place. If Cuil does the right steps and doesn't do any rash decisions, they will succeed...in time.

It is very old news and I don't think cuil is as effective as Google. However it is a Good search engines also. On the basis of Yahoo's Glue pages are also working in India.
