I have a paypal + Ebay account, i registered from this computer last year.

I want to create a New Ebay account, and paypal (in addition to what I have), and I want them created from a Brand new IP Address (not the same one as i created the other ones)

If i change the MAC address or my router (Even if just 1-2 digits), and I create a new username of some accounts (gmail, ebay, paypal etc), will that registere the New accounts on a NEW IP address? /different IP address to the last usernames?

(I can then change the IP address back in a week)

Note- I dont want to use an internet cafe, as they could have been linked to a limited/bad paypal account. neither do i want to use a friends laptop.

Will that work? Temporarily changing the Mac address of my router, will that change my IP address

Probably not. Changing the MAC address of your router might stop it working depending upon the model, but it won't make any difference to the IP address.

Unless you have a fixed IP for your internet connection (you don't say) then you don't have any control of the IP address that identifies you on the internet because that will be decided by your ISP and it could be different every time you make a connection.

I'm not sure what difference a different IP address will make. Paypal or Ebay won't stop another account being created from the same IP. I know this because people in our office have set-up their own Paypal accounts and Ebay accounts from here, yet everyone in the office is identified by the same IP address when connecting to the internet (we have a fixed IP address at the office). Also, the same IP address will be shared by many people when they are connecting through their ISP so it's not always possible to identify someone directly from an IP address. Paypal or Ebay don't use an IP address to directly identify anyone.
