Will chacha.com defeat google?

Google is HUGE, so o dont` think so

 

cha cha is a bunch of american college students after a quick bit of cash. You need to hope you get a good one...

 

that's the company that has a toolbar filled with spyware.. I think it was flagged all over the antivirus websites. I had to block them from Adsense because of their stupid 1 penny ads that kept getting the top position on my site every day.

 

WOW! lol, am I the only one who reads business 2.0? ChaCha is aiming towards a different market! They’re aiming at being the choice search engine for cell phones... Their goal is to replace 411 services. The growth and media attention ChaCha is getting is also amazing. So will they replace google? No… that’s not what there going for… But I can picture them as the choice search engine on other platforms.

Beginners won't have heard of chacha and will use whatever they have heard of, i.e., google, msn, and yahoo.

Never heard of them, and even if they were a threat, google would probably buy them anyway.

 

Cha Cha will never be a threat, far far too slow to even compete, and if it did beat the search engines, it would fall on it's arse as it needs the search engines to find results.

Think of Cha Cha as an example of whats to come

I tried it a few times, hoping that something would change. No, it won't beat Google, it won't beat Yahoo, not MSN, Overture, it won't even beat siterevie.ws


Why? cause it's a bad idea....It's a wonderful idea in theory, but in reality, you can't answer 200 million questions per day, unless you had 1 million people working for you. There's just no way. So unless they employ 1,000,000 personnel, it won't happen

 

no one in the neer future will beet Google ecept Google itself....well...and mabe if you could reinvent the weel (thats the weel on Google CEO's car driving to the bank)

Its human powered search engine .. http://www.chacha.com and i am impressed with their results. very useful when you get short of keywords in GYL.
