No way. Google has got billions of dollars in their pockets. Nothing can stop them.

I also wonder how it will affect any corporations headquartered there because the corporate renewal process has to happen every year. How can you register with the proper department there if they are bankrupt?

If google has been paying its taxes, why should you worry? If things do go out of hand which I very much doubt, it would simply work in google's favor as it might be able to acquire more land around its campus at dirt cheap prices!

Businesswise, google won't be affected. They can easily move here and there with their money in treasury.

Google operation will not be affected by CA bankruptcy. CA government doesn't own Google. So don't worry.

Lol Chrysler thought so too!, yakes , Even if Google saw bankruptcy on the horizon I guess Obama will buy the company out with federal funds to protect the interests of the company and it's employment, though I think the economy will recover before this could ever happen. like nihangshah says "Nothing can stop them" :D
