    Hi there,

I heard that Google is after the sites who are selling/buying links. If it is true then how to get links for SEO work.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Best Regards

I recently stopped buying links and submitting to directories, just a personal choice, its still beneficial to buy links and do directories as of now.

I did hear that Google were giving less importance to links which have been payed for, however they will never hurt your rankings.

Also, I don't particularly see how Google can determine a payed link anyway. Probably best to stay away from Bid for Position directpries etc.

It depends, don't buy links on a page where there are a bunch of external links. Buy links from a page that has relevant topic to your site.

What Directory_SEO said has a point. Avoid sites that contain too many external links. Google may simply include yours as one of those "unless" links.

You could buy links- but try and make them appear as natural as possible.

Everybody buys links out there. Google has recently tried to go against this phenomenon, therefore I would suggest that you take some care, like for instance not publicly telling the site you are buying/selling links for/from.
