I'll let you in on a little secret.....you don't need an invite.

I don't know how true this is, but I like the competition with Google. Maybe Adsense will have to start paying more?

I have tried and tried, and I could never get a response... So I use adsense now, and i am only making like $1.50 a day. I am ready for a change.

Yep, even if you do get an invite you still need a SSN.

    Am I missing something here?
The invitations are generated AFTER someone has looked at your site.
The invitation is BASED UPON that one site.

This suggests to me that the "invites" are non-transferrable.
Just because YPN would like to partner with ONE site, does not mean that they would like to partner with just ANY site.

    Am I wrong?
I don't think that you need an invitation.
You need a good (appropriate) website.
These days, folks with good websites are being accepted very quickly upon applying, without any invitation. One recent poster said he was accepted in 2 days.

Actually an invite will get you in, you get an invite if your website get's approved, but it is not attached to any one email or website, so if you get an invite it will skip the approval process.

"... it will skip the approval process."

How can this be? It seems like it would demand ANOTHER approval process. YPN is not going to admit someone, just because they have an "invitation" in their hand, or they will end up admitting many poor-quality sites, which never would have received an invitation on their own.

Well look at my site www.boardingscene.com.

I submitted it for approval, and after 2 months I finally got a email saying I was rejected. Thats it...

I submitted another, and they never even emailed back.
