I guess that depends on what you define a failure as. Most of the affects of a presidents policy both domestic and foreign is not known for several years. From what I have seen so far, particularly with the economy and defense, he's been quite a success given the messes he inherited.

God, I'm starting to get depressed just thinking about the shape of our country. Don't get me wrong, even though I'm republican, I know GWB has just failed miserably in Iraq. In part because of the media and in part because the clowns in the white house dunno what they are doing. But besides Iraq, he has done a pretty bang up job if I do say so myself. I'm in a similar situation with Mexicans. I live in "NEW MEXICO" which is a territory of the US and is becoming a colony of Mexico.

But you see the diference is I make an effort to to live side by side. I also recognize this land was previously occupied by Natives and Mexicans, we are all immigrants but can co-exist.

The land was taken from Mexicans by Anglos, before that from natives by Mexicans and before the some natives took it from someone else and on and on back thousands of years.

I don't consider Mexicans "swine" that need to be eliminated because MoohaMAD told me so. Nor should they be run into the sea. Mexicans have a huge country right next the US, yet still I can find a way to co-exist.

If mexicans were murdered by the millions by Nazis, Muslims and Christians and had no homeland I think I could see my way to give them New Mexico as a safe spot. Especially if they allowed me to live here as the Jews do Muslims.

There are some similarities.

Israel-1/19 the size of California, an oasis of western democracy surrounded by 22 Islamic/Arabic totalitarian dictatorships, 1/6 of 1% of Arab area.
