My exprience shows that the UK as an European country is going to bow to all or part of mullahs demand.

Mullahs are seeking a justification for their kidnapping. Something like "We might have entered Iran's territory by mistake." This is the least they would accept. They need something to feed in their propaganda machine, something that proves they have been victorious over this issue. Something that warmer up their supporters inside and outside Iran.

Any withdraw by UK is a betray to the human race and will have bad consequences. It justifys mullahs for further trouble making and approves of further wrong doing.

Saddly and unwillingly my prediction is that UK will bow to mullhas demand. I hope I am wrong.

By the way, their might be other demands, my main question here is if UK bow to their demands whatever it is.

An ideal scenario would be that the British bow to their demands, the 15 people are released, the heat is off and thousands of innocent people are not killed.

The whole "war on terror" BS is a complete sham and we don't need it to get any worse.

Ags i thought you would say something like this; UK should bow before the almightly Iran mullahs.

    I wasn't far wrong:rolleyes:

You should leave the UK if it's so bad, go to Iran:)

Also another more desirable solution since Iran started this:

An ideal scenario would be that the Iranians bow to their demands, the 15 people are released, the heat is off and thousands of innocent people are not killed.

No - we won't. It would make a mockery of the UK as a nation. We were in the right - defending Iraqi waters in accordance with UN instructions - Iran were in the wrong by unlawfully seizing our equipment and personnel. Iran need to be knocked into touch and I envisage that date rapidly looming.

Your experience eh? What does that consist of? My country isn't going to bend over for those crazy morons. Why should we? They lied about where they found our soldiers. First they said they where in Iraqi waters (So then why the fuck take them captive?) then they changed their mind and said they where well within Iranian waters. Complete bull. If I had some diplomatic influence, I'd demand our soldiers back or we'll take them back. HMS Cornwall should have blown the fuckers out of the water.. Also, what the hell are those loony retards doing stood outside the Iranian foreign office campaigning to have our soldiers executed? Times like these make me question why I defend Islam sometimes...

When you say "UK as a European country" Do you realise that the UK is not a country? That's almost as idiotic as someone I saw on TV state that London was the capital of the UK, haha.

Mahmood actually has a point - there are certain issues that the UK is prepared to lose face over just to appease other nations - the Common Agricultural Policy rebate is an obvious example. Issues of defence and upholding international law can not be negotiated away - we must remain resolute in the face of Iranian defiance.

It's all a load of shit to create more chaos out there.

I am hoping and praying that that they will be released ASAP. Remember all the bullshit and innocent lives lost in Lebanon when 2 Israeli's were taken hostage. These crazy neocons know that it is simple to start another war out there, there are masses of US navel vessels in the area. Any of you sheeple figuring it out yet?

    Indeed.

What worrys me is that once Blair has finished rimming Bush's arse Bush will tell Blair exactly what to do, and being the great poodle that he is Blair will do it.

I sense an even bigger disaster than the illegal invasion of Iraq on the cards.

The Iranians are pushing it though. They're bringing it on themselves. Why go out of your own territory to capture 15 soldiers within another territory?

    Exactly.

The media are going full blown on this one, especially FOX News.

They are laying it on long and hard, I was watching Hanniny & Colmes last night (the real "good cop, bad cop" crap but in reality both are bad cops lol) and they are turning this drama into a crisis big time.

I hope this gets resolved real soon.

But it is a crisis. They took our soldiers for no reason, and are now threatening us with them.

I would give the Iranian authority 3 days to release the sailors safely. If not, then I'm afraid we'd have to go in and get them.

So do I, for Iran's sake. I'm thinking we've been to the UN about 5 times in the past and every resolution so far has been flouted by Tehran. How many options are left on the table? Only one that I can see but we must get our service personnel back first.
