Hi all, do you think SMS will be replaced by instant messenger one day ? now already have some phones support instant messenger, so in this case, do you think it is a new business opportunity to offer instant messenger related software/add on such as face, icon etc...

    thanks

I doubt you will be able to use icons and such from a 3rd party. If the cellphone compaines do it right they will only be able to download stuff like that from their sites for a fee.

i dont touch my mobile to use internet, although i have internet connection in my mobile. its difficult, and sms no it takes so much time to type, even if u get a additional keyboard, it cant replace internet the way it works on pc
m not even sure how would i talk to 20 windows at a time if i were to use it
i have used it in past, yahoo messenger and talking to 4-5 friends, really difficult to manage

    • screen is small
    • loading speed is slow
    • not comfortable to type
    • cant open 50 windows together
    • it jus keeps scrolling,
