Will article scrapers harm my SEO efforts?

    I just noticed that after I posted an article with a link to my site in the article, it was scraped about 6-7 times to different low quality blogs. Do you guys think this might to more harm then good? links are nofollow though.

    if your article was indexed by google before it was scrapped on these blogs, you don't have to worry. moreover, google is too intelligent and can make the difference which content is valuable and which is not. i wouldn't worry for this...

    I think you are fine. I had this happen to me several times but hard to tell if it had an effect or not. I was doing several different marketing/link building efforts that it may of offset any negative results of scrapping.

    It should be fine, depends on your link profile and how authoritative status of your site. Google does not count who is the first posted but do give more score toward site with older aged and high quality link profile with consistency. :)
