    Hello

I am running a Online forex trading website and I want to chnage my design and content of the home page.

So will it affect my Search Engine ranking?

please put your valuable comments :)

Depends on how widely you are changing your content and how your updated design is. If you content position is same as earlier then I don't think there would be any change in rankings. However, when we redesign the websites some of the main content position slipped, due to which our rankings got down temporary.

Design shouldnt affect your rankings at all..just content...if you change your content that was getting your good rankings then your rankings will drop drastically..how about just leaving most of the content and adding new content to it?...maybe put the old content at the bottom of the page?

mikelinley is correct. you can change the design of your site, as long as you keep your url structure the same, and keep all links and text the same. adding new content and links could have an effect. my suggestion would be do do the design change 1st then slowly intergrate any new content in slowly. That way you can monitor any effects. good luck

i think it does not affect as long as your domain name is intact I mean the same and a regular update will do good.
