What happens when every single person in the world has adsense ads on their site? Do most web users know that they are giving you money when they click on ads by goooogle? I didn't know until a little over a year ago. I guess I am just wondering about how this kind of system can work unless it is kept somewhat of a secret. I mean you don't see it on CNN, and that's a good thing I think. Furthermore, what are most Adwords users saying about the system? Thanks
There will always be a need to advertise. The method may evolve over time but expect Adsense will remain a major player. Shannon
As long as there are people who click the adverts... Adsense will remain on the market. That's impossible to happen. Maybe we just assume that it is true, then I can say, Adsense will be there still..,...
I'm quite sure now that adsense is going to remain. Google may evolve new methods, techniques which will push adsense much ahead of others who have just started copying what's Google started years back.
adsense will remain useful for those sites that do not justify their own advertising team selling the ad space. That's most of us. The big guys like CNN will make more from targetted specific advertisers. Many of them are advertising for brand reinforcement and clicks are not their primary goal. sarah
I see that all your websites are only visited by webmasters My websites are visited by normal visitors, about 99% of my visits are non-webmasters And they search for content, if they can't find it or find something more interesting/usefull they will click on a ad... That's how it works And every single person is difficult... There are people who already have been banned and lots of websites that will not make a buck, and sooner or later they will remove the code
They aren't giving me any money, Google is; and Google is getting paid by the advertisers and the advertisers are (hopefully) making money from the people who click on the ads. The question is do people think the ads are paid for on a per view basis or by clicks; or do they think we put the ads up for free??? To be honest I don't think most people care, although the growth of annoying made-for-adsense sites with no useful content probably gives the game away Cheers BP
I think what you will eventually end up with are different guidelines and criteria for publishers, which means some segments of the publishing population will be excluded from Google and other similar programs. I think the exclusions will expand... while I think content-driven publishing will have a pretty healthy run.
As long as google is BIG BOSS adsense will last .If we dont see google /adsense in future it would have been replaced by google/xyz or some thing.
If that is the case, then we need to find a viagra for adsense. And btw, Shoemoney, you need a viagra too, and if you interested I know someone that sell viagra very cheap. He/she email me everyday to tell me about the offer
Check out the web: I guess not even 5% of the sites are running AdSense. I participated in creating over 50 sites, just 2 of them run AdSense. Most of those sites are not in major language (ENG, DEU, ITA...) so can't participate in AS, most of them are of my business clients who don't want competitors ads, most of them are based on Macromedia Flash etc.
Nothing lasts forever! However, I do think that Adsense will develop along with the Internet and be an important revenue source for many websites for a long time... Personally I think we will see more "major" websites running adsense (or competing services) in the future, probably leading to stricter standards for sites allowed to participate in the program. I also think that click through rates will drop over time as more and more people get used to the ads (similar to what has happened with banner ads which are now pretty much ignored by many people). Businesses will never run AdSense. However...yes, I think more sites will be running AdSense in future. But I don't thinnk they'll eliminate small sites, I think it'll be market driven - if click throughs go down, return will go down, and the big sites will go back to their dedicated advertisers, making it better again for the small sites. It will balance out. Though nothing on the Internet has ever lasted more than a few years in the same form, right? At this point I have offers from real advertisers but they can't reach Google dollars...
Adsense will change its stratagy that time,i don't know in which manner. B'cos they change there stratagy every time depends on the conditions and reqirements.
