I am currently building a website which is 99% original articles. However i do feature a "random image" display on my sidebar featuring free to distribute wallpapers and gifs, that are not tied to any independent page or post. I also have a small section with some flash games that include proper credit to respectful creators. If i robots.txt disallow adsense from my games folder and images, will my site be accepted or will it even be a big deal? I know the bot may not see the images but if a human reviews my site will that be grounds for disapproval, or just ask me to take it down, or not even worry about it. I dont own copyright for the images, but they are widely distributed around the net.
Hi,cheeseburgerEddie! I would advice that if not extremely necessary, get rid of the images you are talking about. Adsense has quite strict guidelines. I can't say for sure that Adsense will reject your blog/site just for the sake of that but I think you wouldn't like to take the risk. please post your blog/site URL so I can visit that. If it's for applying for an adsense account then better not have it, but if it's not for opening then you can let it, at the worst you'll receive an email notification but that's not even probable.
