Just wanted to know if a Html sitemap page on my website would hurt my serp results. I am worried about the fact that it has over 100 links basically. There are more pages but only 100+ are in this particular sitemap. Take a look Here and let me know. Thanks in advanced. It has been up about an hour and it really is no problem to trash it if it makes any impact what-so-ever in a negative way.
When I made my sitemap, my website had over 150k links. 50k links per site map is the limit I think. I'd go ahead and say just make a XML site map, but if you want to tamper into a HTML sitemap, I've had them before but that was before Google's Feb. Panda update.
Yes, Google will crawl only 100 links of of your HTML Sitemap... It will consider it as ordinary web-page with hyperlinks. And these HTML Sitemaps have no impact on your SERP rankings, in fact none of the Sitemap impacts SERP rankings. HTML Sitemaps just ease down navigation process for the user and XML sitemap enables deep crawling to the search engines.
The html sitemap will not hurt you, but I would recommend you clean up the link text if you can, so it does not look so spammy. Some of the links look like you are trying to stuff keywords in. For instance Best Forex Signals Service | Get Forex Signals Online | Forex Signal Providers | Top 10 Best list I would just choose one of these phrases, as listed below, rather than listing all of them (this may not be possible though if you are using some automated software that just grabs the page title) Best Forex Signals Service Get Forex Signals Online Forex Signal Providers Lastly, though Google recommends listing less than 100 links per page for user experience, they will not ding you for it. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/how-many-links-per-page/
