Will a free blog bring traffic to my website???

    hello,i have a website that sells parts and im thinking about starting a blog on blogger.com ,and put some links that will direct them to my website ,and i will also throw some adsense adds up there and see if i can make some extra cash..lol...just wanted to know is it good to have a blog for your website??

    Yes, it will! A blog is a very seo friendly thing, but dont espect to get a huge trafic from the start.

    Hi you will still need to promote it to get guaranteed website traffic that you want. A blog is a good start though, just keep posting

    I had 4 visits on a blog i didnt promote over a month period.
    after a month of promotion i had 5,000 and im a dummie within the field of internet marketing.

    It would be better if you spend some time on search engine optimization.Its better to have traffic from search engine than by ads.moreover if u really want to display your products witha blog then do not opt for a free service rather install a blog(prefer wordpress) on a subdomain.

    wordpress is a must and hosted on your own server is right. wordpress is one of the best optimized platforms and you can easily add plug ins that will allow you to focus on posting and not worry too much about seo.

    Wordpress is much better than blogger however if you are not that serious about blogging then setup your blog at blogger. However if you are really interested then, First get familiar with wordpress dashboard by acquiring a blog at wordpress.com and later on move to self hosted wordpress.

    If you want someone to setup a selfhosted blog for you along with SEO then PM me asap.
