    If the domain does not having any PR backlinks then it will surely lose it's PR !
    In most of the cases dropped domain lose it's PR ..

    I had a valid PR 6 domain that I bought since it dropped and it went to PR 0. :(

    If you register it right as it expires and all the backlinks stay the same then no it will not.

    p.s. who lets a pr7 expire?
