    Will a content gateway hurt your seo rankings?

    If you need specifics lets take the following scenario.

    Do a google search for "online dating review"

    http://online-dating-review.toptenreviews.com/ should be the site listed in the results.

    Let's pretend you owned http://online-dating-review.toptenreviews.com/ and put a content gateway like this (http://www.themoviereleaser.com/wp-...5/cpalead-content-blocker-gateway-example.jpg) on your home page.

    Would your rankings fall because of the content gateway?

    I would like to know if anyone has experience with this scenario.

    no it should not effect rankings at all because search engines dont get blocked by them

    Nothing should happen, just make sure you keep yout HTML file clean, don't dump too much code in there, try to keep it neat and tidy as possible.
