Will a 16x16px image link from a PR7 site boost my PR?

    Yeah,
I was wondering what the benefits of a link in the form of a 16px by 16px image would be from a PR7 site?

What boost would it give a PR2 site and a PR4 site?

    Cheers, RJP1

Really? Why not? Because it's a small image or just one PR7 link...?

    Cheers

It certainly won't hurt, but having some keywords inside of the a tag would be better than a link from an image...

Yes a link is a link. It will also help your serps btw.. not all links need to have anchor text, infact if there was a site that only had high quality image links it would still rank well as Google will play more to the sites content than a site without links. So all links are good, many high authority sites have banner placements that can be bought for a high price but the payoff in serps can be great as most forget about the nofollow on banners.

I would say, it will help your PR.
It might even be good for your linkstructur - its recommended to link with different keys (even the complete url) to build a natural looking backlinkstructur.
Pictures would blend in well, imho.
