It will die down after a while, but yes, for now this could be good for the domain industry. ;)

Awesome. I have always wondered why manufacturing companies (like Toyota) that don't sell directly to the public, don't want their "dealers" using their name.
If the site was trying to pass itself off as an "official Toyota site" then I would understand. But yeah, It would be like Toyota making all car dealers remove all the Toyota signs and logos from car yards and websites because of trademark infringement.
Its stupid, and the Judge got it right.

    Cheers
    James

Before seeing this thread, I had never heard of or seen a 3D domain. And I don't understand the excitement.

If I search for something and get results of Something.com and 3DSomething.com, there is nothing that would encourage me to choose the latter. It would sound like a cheap trick.

Something.biz or Something.us would be more attractive.

Personally, I dont like the hyphen between the "3" and the "D", but thats just me, they are certainly worth something. Even now, you could sell them for mid-high xx, hold onto them for a while

This name certainly has potential, hard to say at the moment though

Not a bad name, its a pity its a .net, but certainly should make you a little $$

That is a trademarked name, Sony would not be happy, delete that name

Short names like this will always do ok IMO

Personally, I think these are the 2 best names

I'm seeing an increase in visits to my 3d tv names for sure. Not massive but definitely picking up slowly.

cant really argue with that :)

been a while since we all listed what we feel are our top 5 or now we could all probably easily list our top ten
    (not in any order)
    1. 3dchatrooms.net
    2. 3dwebcams.info
    3. 3dvideomarketing.com
    4. 3dsexgamez.com
    5. 3dhardcoreporn.com
    6. hardcore3dporn.com
    7. porn3d.info
    8. 3dlcdtv.info
    9. 3dcinema.biz
    10. 3dphoneworld.com

ask me this again tommorrow i would probably pick out a completly different ten lol

Website, Google Earth offer 3-D views of Hawaii
A new website backed by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar says it will offer potential visitors to Hawaii the ability to view hotels, shops and tourist attractions in three dimensions and from different angles in an interactive virtual tour.
    http://www.physorg.com/news198434097.html

this was what i had planned for one of my domains lol
    oh well beaten to it

Thanks gilescoley for your response! I don't have alot of 3D names like some people on here (wish I did). But I might put these up for sale in the near future.

Nice Job on some of these ZJ :)

As Giles has mentioned, the '3-D' is not ideal, but still valuable and actually, according to the dictionary, the proper way to write this... this is also WHY every article you read pertaining to 3d has the dash so these could still turn out nice for you.

No matter how you look at it - someone will be barking up your tree sooner or later for that 3-dLaptop name.
I'm a little down on .nets, i hope i'm wrong, because some of my .nets are super strong, but unless i am incredibly mistaken (VERY possible), they seem to be losing a bit of value. (i don't know why).. but i really like 3dRecorder.net

If i picked a favorite from your list, i would probably say 3dDigitalProjector .. projection is going to be BIG!!
Good Luck to you ZJ .. wish u all the luck in the world with them .. make us ALL proud. :)

Where are your mobile names Iain?.. you were LOVING these a couple months back?
.. and i don't care HOW STRONG the term... you can't include 3 dot-info's (and a dot biz) in your "TOP" domain names list... you have lots of better ones than that
    ...please revise and resubmit.
    (hahaha!!)
