Good luck with them, I was going to enter a few myself but forgot about it and missed the cutoff date. I was going to submit some dotME's "handset, handsets and televising.me" as well as a few 3D ones, some similar to yours (3DPlasma.tv .org and .info).
Guess I'll just have to wait a bit.
Will keep an eye on the auction out of interest, but don't get your hopes up... the last snapname auction (the "finance" one), Out of the hundreds of domains, I think there were only 4 or 5 that got any bids. (Not sure how well they promoted it).

I don't have any on the market, but do have quite a few parked with AFD. Just checked my stats and found that in the last week, the 3D channel I set up has had 905 Landing page impressions...
It seems a couple of the country3D names accounted for most of those (Austria and New Zealand), So I expect there are still links to them somewhere.
Type in traffic seems to be on the increase to.

This is INCREDIBLE!!! The fact that they are accepting 3D Domain Names!! I try to submit some about 2 months ago for an auction, good ones, and I guess it was just a little too early. NOW the 3D Domain Name topic is a big one, and word is traveling fast. There are blogs talking about "people" talking about 3D Domain Names. I believe 3D Domain Name is in the process of going Viral and now the word is getting out. We are intelligent people here, and we know when something just seems right; taking a generic name that is very valuable and adding 3D to it in a 3D World with a 3D Revolution going on.

This is great news that 3D is getting accepted. I sold mine privately. Best of luck with the sales. Please keep us posted how the sales go.

I've never dabbled in the adult industry names before so i really don't know what are hits and misses...

I asked someone in another forum, who was seemingly very experienced in the adult industry, and they suggested that the .co.uk market is not exactly a good one for porn/adult.
I aslo asked about the dot-info names with adult and was told the same thing - not good
If any one else has anything 'factual' they can add on this topic, i would love to hear it.

This thread is one big lol to me, maybe instead of actually paying domain registers this money and dropping them in a year or 2 when you understand how stupid you where to buy them, just send the money to me, I'll put it into a better use ^.^

tbh all the cash i have spent on 3d domains i have made back already so lets look at at this way i have around 160 domains for free by the time they need renewed i will have enough made from them to renew each one for another two years in the meantime the searches and hits continue to go up as well as the interest in the various 3d technologies
All i need is to sell just a few to make a few bucks and i dont have to worry as i am not losing anything anyway so wheres the"one big lol" ?
considering all the recent sales and the amounts quite a few people here are set to make a serious amount of cash.

do you know how far 3d stretches in technology ?
and i am not talking about a tv
tell the guys who have already made $xx,xxx.xx on their domains that they are stupid lol

 

Yep, 3D is about to be used in everything, companies have thrown billions at development and advertising and Avatar was the biggest money maker ever in the movies...oh and 3D PC's are hitting already. How ridiculous to think there is a possibility for investment here.

Suggestion...follow the news a wee bit more!
