Enough for you to make an offer on it ;)

I'll hold onto it for a while, the reason I wanted a quick sale was so that I could use the money from this sale to buy a bunch of other 3d domains.

Regarding my two sales (buy3dpc and buy3dLaptop both .com's) I emailed DN Journal to tell them the news about my two sales so they could list it in their sales chart, but they said they start at $2000 and higher. In the response back they mentioned something like: Seeing the trend, I should get a higher price in the future. THEY SHOULD KNOW!!!!

you said these were sold at Sedo, correct?
unless the buyer requested a private sale, this should still be listed as a sale through sedo

    $1,000 USD

The other day, I was checking to see if it was real, cuz I really don't undestand why someone would buy this spam looking domain name at 1,000$ before buying Ultra good & netter names for less or the same price... Still, it's a real sell & congratz GO3D for the auction! :)

ps: End-users usally don't care about traffic or anything else then the quote in there brain saying: BUY THIS DOMAIN (at this price max...)! lol

Thanks for the verification. The two names get millions of searches each month (without the 3d). The products are high priced items (laptops and pcs). It really could be a money maker if the right websites are built selling these products getting high type-in traffic.

Toshiba Develops Optically Compensated Bend Liquid Crystal Panel for 3D Glasses

    http://www.physorg.com/news193415397.html

In this new liquid crystal display panel, suitable for application in a pair of glasses, TMD has used OCB technology to achieve both high-speed response and a wide viewing angle while maintaining high contrast. Glasses adopting these panels feature high-speed shutter opening and closing, yielding a significant reduction in 3D crosstalk. In addition, the wide viewing angle provides vivid 3D images across a wide field of view, such as in movie theaters and living rooms. Glasses adopting these panels would allow the viewer to enjoy high-quality 3D images in comfort with minimized fatigue when watching TV, viewing a movie, or playing a game for a long time.

Toshiba America Electronics Components, Inc. will showcase this display at SID 2010 International Symposium, Seminar, and Exhibition, from May 25 to May 27, 2010, in Seattle, Washington, USA.

This was on a different website that was showing the results that you posted. I meant SEDO's results posting the sales. But thank you VERY MUCH for that post you did. I greatly appreciate it. They still have not listed buy3DLaptops, but that sale was about 1 week later, but it should be posted soon. I check every day to see if someone wants one of my other names.... Nothing yet. Should I renew 3DBottlecaps .com ???

I read a news article saying could Moniker sell another million dollar domain name. Then it asked for responses... I wrote
Just wondering what people think of generic names with 3D in front or back? Yes, I do have about 20 in which I have developed some (while not that great of web development, they are getting high traffic). Could 3D be the next big thing? Forums are talking about this idea.

We ALL SHOULD DO similar responses when we see articles discussing Domain Names if we want the "world" to know what most of us here believe to be true. It just seems very clear that if a domain is valued at say $20,000.00, in a 3D WORLD that we are living in, with 3D Computers, 3D Websites, etc. with a 3D Revolution going on, wouldn't the same name with 3D in it be at least worth 1/3 of that price?? Please Start Blogging!!!!!!!

    This will be tough:

    "1-4 character domains."

    but also:

    "One- or two-generic word domains."

    ??

    and let me ask..
... do these names all need to be registered at Moniker (Snap Names) or can my godaddy names pass through as well? (anybody know - not too familiar auction houses like this and conferences...etc.)

    - - - - - -

**Update - looks like the names have to be registered or held by Moniker... making a transfer from godaddy needed

You're just showing off now IaIn!!!
Nice group of names there, my friend

here's what i have... nothing even close to you and some are very flawed, but i'm hoping the market says it don't care when this gets big:

    • Buy3dPhone.com

    • Buy3dPhones.com

    • 3dMobilePhone.us

    • 3dMobilePhones.us

    • Mobile-3d.us

    • 3-dMobile.net

    • Cellphones3d.net

    • 3dCellphone.co.uk

    • 3dCellphones.co.uk

    • 3dCellular.co.uk

    • 3dWireless.co.uk

    • 3-dMobile.info

    • 3-dMobilePhones.info

    • 3-dPhone.info

    • 3d-Smartphone.info

    • 3d-Smartphones.info

    • 3dCell.info

    • 3dCellPhone.info

    • 3dCellular.info

    • 3dMobi.info

    • 3dMobileApps.info

    • Buy3dPhone.info

    • Buy3dPhones.info

"3-D" may NOT be ideal - UNDERSTOOD... however, according to ANY dictionary, this is the PROPER way to spell it, and it is being marketed like that EVERYWHERE.
i still think people are going to type "3D" as opposed to "3-D", but there should be enough volume for the latter for it to not be completely ignored.

lol i was wondering when people would twig they are all mine :)

some good ones there in your list trust me :)
forgot about these ones in the list

    3D-4G.COM
    3DPORNVIDEO.NET
    4GP.IN - 4th gen phones
main reason i went for the mobile ones without any mention of a phone ie
    MOBILE-3D.NET
    MOBILES3D.INFO
    MOBILES3D.ORG
    MOBILES3D.US
is that they can be used for a site containing any mobile 3d device just a shame i was a little slow off the mark and couldnt grab any .coms or .nets etc

That's just a standard extra they add to all auction descriptions. Basically they are taking submissions for domains that are in the Telecom/Mobile name space, but will also consider other names if they fall into the above category.

They can be left in your Godaddy account, "but" (and a big but) if they are sold in the auction and are not held in your Moniker account, then they charge you $100 to process the sale... a bit of a scam really. I have all my domains at Godaddy accept for one which I transferred to Moniker when it was accepted in the recently finished SnapNames Finance auction.
I submitted four domains, and one was accepted, so I only transferred that one.
I would have kept it in my Godaddy account and if it sold, just paid the $100, but the reserve was only $500, so $100 was out of the question.
I don't think it even got one bid, so now am stuck with one domain at moniker... and hundreds at Godaddy.
    meh.
