I'm sure I saw someone here list 3D desktop as one of there domains...
You may be interested in this.
    Google acquires 3D desktop BumpTop

Wonder what Google plan to do with it, hopefully they don't just shelve it like they tend to do with a lot of their acquisitions.

    Cheers

    Hey all..
if anyone is interested, i have "3dViewerKit.com" listed at Bido ..
.. this will go live on Wednesday ... Bido also raised their minimum purchase pricing to $38 .. is this good or bad? ... seems like they're trying to find the price break and weed out the crap all at the same time .. i think i am in favor of this .. agreed?

Motorola Intros 3D Set-Top Boxes for Cable
Device Said to Improve Consumer Experience by Eliminating Confusion

Motorola’s Mobile Devices and Home business has introduced software enhancements for its DCX line of set-tops that the company says represents a breakthrough in 3D video processing, providing consumers with an exceptional and seamless 3D TV experience in their home.

By enabling 3D content to be processed in the set-top box before delivery to the 3D-capable TV, consumers will no longer be confused by having to use remote controls and access on-screen menus to configure the set-top and television set every time a channel change involves switching between 2D and 3D video. Furthermore, all of this is done while maintaining the visual integrity of emergency broadcast messages, closed captioning or on screen displays while 3D video is playing.

You must have also purchased a few years ago to get the name 3DFights.com. That is a really good name, as well as others you have. Not sure what I was thinking... Many names were available when I started out... but I only thought of Geo (have a few of those), and financial. As if tech would have gone 3D....

I just sold another name for $1000 to what I believe is the same person as the 2 names are similar. I AM STILL WAITING for the funds, then I will share the names. They are tech names that I picked up about 2 months ago after 3DTV's came out that I paid less than $8 for each. This is REAL and people cannot ignore this. Putting 3D infront or inback of any generic name is EXTREMELY easy to remember and a FUN way of having a Domain. And... imagine if you have 3D graphics in your website, or the website is in 3D, it is a perfect match.

Cheers, haven't had any offers on any of mine yet though. However, I wouldn't sell 3D Fights anyway for a while until this all develops a tad. Only started buying domains 6 months ago...knew that if Avatar hit big then a lot more people would be regging, so got on it quick sharp. I've got a load parked on Sedo at the moment so I'll just wait and see for another month or two and then maybe auction a few. Would be quite happy to sell a couple for a grand apiece myself

Imperfect grammar, so I can't see it selling for much. You probably meant "Scary3DMovies"

yeah, thats weird, but the stats in google are quite similar

    "3D Scary Movies" - 6,980
    "Scary 3D Movies" - 4,060

So I think 3DScaryMovies.com is lightly better, but I still think you would need to develop this name, would be a hard one to sell for decent $$

    Good luck

hey jack .. way too early to sell these names man .. there's BARLEY a market yet .. relax a bit - this is supposed to be a long term plan for names like this

i understand this isn't '3dtv', but this market will DEFINITELY pick up if you just wait ... what's the rush? It's not even four months since you bought it ??

BTW .. i own the singular... "3dScaryMovie.com" ... i'm hoping those crazy Wayans Brothers call me up for this one
    haha

either way .. would like to see you sit on this for a bit longer .. 3d horror movies (Ian has this one) are already one of the top 3d movies categories (when you look at blockbuster, and netflix, they seem to have the most) .. and will only get bigger... so much fun they are going to be able to have with horror and 3d.

Good luck to you either way

    WOW...
.. i don't know how many of you saw this, but this was just posted a very short time ago on Bido's Main site:

"Bido is ceasing operation as of May 5, 2010. All transactions and accounts will be gracefully finalized and closed. "

Most of these names are too long IMO

Remember, IMAX is a trademark, I would drop those names

Anything short and worth anything is already taken :p

Maybe for selling the domains mine are a bit long but if I were to optimize some of these sites and provide good content I think they have potential. Especially when 3d gaming and such gets bigger.
