Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

Hi all, I would like to some of my 3d domains. I am new to the business. Could you please help?

how much will these be worth? and where can I sell them?

Should I register 3D-(product).com or 3d(product).com: with or without hyphen?

 

3D is something that's getting a lot of hype at the moment. It seems that 1080p HD is now old hat, with films utilising 3D, and a lot of advancements within the 3D industry. I think it would work with some domains, but only those where it would make a practical match, mostly technology and films

 

3D 3D 3D! What about Light Touch (Pico) Projector?

 

Quick question:

if you had to choose only one of these names to develop... which one would you run with?

1) - PC In 3d.com
2) - The 3d PC.com


same question:
1) - Get 3d Cable.com
2) - Cable In 3d.com
3) - 3-d Cable Tv


and one last time... same question:
1) - 3d Sexy Tv.com
2) - 3d SeXxXy.com
3) - 3d 3x Tv.com


Overall plan is to develop slightly, submit to the search engines... drop links... get traffic... sprinkle in some affiliates and some adsense... update once a month...
... sell site, name and traffic in a year or two

Any preferences?

 

I totally agree with this here .. i've seen some RIDICULOUS 3d names that have no business being put together... perfectly said!! .. this 3d thing will be big .. but it's not going to be big Everywhere - and it's not going to pertain to Everything.

someone in the appraisal section told me that the value of 3dgamer.org = 9.99$ ?!?!? Is it true that its a bad name?

 

That's a pretty accurate estimate. I doubt anyone searches for "3d gamer", so you would have to do a lot of work to brand it. Also, the .org extension really kills it.

I totally agree. All the domains mentioned in this thread, including mine is sh*t. No one will make a dime from any of the domains here. Not now, not ever!

You can try, but I doubt you will even get a reply from them. There might be a reason why they never regged the .org version of the domain.

But I dont think now is the time for selling these domains. There are no market for them as yet. Nobody here will sell a single 3D related domain.

 

I'm just selling good .infos to get more capital for more...
And have too much (80 domains in 1 week) to develop for now.

Plus it's a great deal: 20x domains for 200$ = 10$ each.

 

I saw a lot of people wasting good money here the last couple of days.

I hope you will make some profit.
