can you tell me how the .co.uk names are over in England?
(you have England as your location)

I scooped up a few really good .co.uk names and was wondering why they were all still available to me .. is there something i'm missing? (Games3d.co.uk, Movies3d.co.uk...among others - like 25 .co.uk names i have with 3d)

Also read a report that UK internet users would rather click on the .co.uk than the .com if given a choice... do you find this to be true (that you know of, anyway?)

e.g. when i created my first website and told my dad the domain (.com) and his reaction was "thats american isn't it?"

 

Well there is still a .com available for a website that could focus on new movies that is to be released in 3D:

comingin3d.com

It is still available for someone to reg it.

 

lol! But that's not the case with other country based extensions like .in/.us/.cn etc.People know ".com" more than anything else.

 

My question is that how are those keyword rich 3D domains going to be useful?
I mean suppose I have 3DLCDTV . com, who is going to purchase it? The manufacturers of 3D LCD TV do have their own website to sell their products. Why would they bother about such domain names?
Only use of these domains may be to build a store and get affiliate commission on the products sold through them.

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most if not all of these domains are probably going to be used for Amazon/eBay affiliate sites. At least, that's what I plan to do. The ones that get search engine visibility or type-ins are worth keeping, and I'll just drop the rest.

Let's hope 3D TV actually makes it though. Years ago, I bought about 20 domains for Laser TV and that has been virtually forgotten at this point

 

Same thing happened with 3G technology related domains few years ago.

 

3d is about to become an unstoppable force... EVERY future trend links to 3d... and as mentioned earlier, ALL the big boys have ponied up BIG money on this one... this isn't going to be paper glasses kind tech... this is it fella's... it's coming in a big way!!
