Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

I bought about Five .co.uk names and there was no problem for me with registering them and I'm not from the UK. Is there something I dont know?

I feel like domains with dashes really lose their value.

 

I was going to ask... but after seeing some of the names you are getting... I guess the answer to my question is YES. It was whether or not to renew 3DContractors.com... It is a very good name like the ones you are getting, just not GREEEEEEAT!! Can not see it at auction on Moniker....

 

Do not like the dash. Perhaps you could sell for under $100.00 each (I guess that would be great in these economic times...) but there are so many other good names out there for less than $10. The problem now is if you return them and they sell for higher... you will be mad at yourself (and at this forum)...get more opinions.

 

As for 4D... the definition still has 3D in it... plus, the 3D internet is what our domain names will mostly be about. People developing their websites in 3D, selling to those who want to develop a website in 3D, so I doubt rain etc. will come out of the computer making it 4D.

.. while i don't disagree with anything your saying about 4d (also don't know enough about the topic to carry an educated conversation with you) ..
but remember .. what we do here, is all about marketing.. nothing more - nothing less.

If "4d" was the latest marketing trend, i don't care about its origins or he facts or anything like that.. i care about selling that domain name and getting it before you do


Look around, and you will see 4d is starting to surface
... i'm not really buying into them at all because by that time, i think the web is going to be totally different than it is now... i think we're going to be more reliant on touch screens and aps for our searches and that might not necesarily be dot-com... i'm imagining a world similar to how we use our iphones... things will evolve.. .tv might be much bigger also because of the joining of the tv and the computer that's about to form... WAY too far away for me to lockup that kind of questionable investment

barely getting any page views

... no watches (who i would have assumed at this point that maybe even a couple of you would have 'watched' just to see what happens)

it's ok ... just testing the ebay waters for domains... breakpoints to buy in ... stuff like that... they were priced the way were to see - there are some pretty cheap ones, some mids and then a few higher than that.

and while every domain name listed there might be considered too low in a few months (ok, maybe a year or two), but if everything there sold for the lowest dollar amount its listed at today, it would still be enough to have then (1) - paid for themselves, and (2) - to then be able to re-register EVERY OTHER 3d domain name i bought and own for the next 4 years.

pull that off and talk about smooth sailing

You have to remember that 3d is something that is really only going to be in the tech/electronic industry. For something to happen that would involve 3d honeymoons I would be really surprised...

Not trying to be mean but every single keyword you find wont work with 3d in front of it.

Will let you have the name once I get paid should be this week

Going to donate $400 to the Livestrong foundation and the rest goes on my Mum and Girlfriend

Bought a few today (3D Domains) been reading alot of articles and getting all the latest info will have my site up and running...you guy's can check out what I have purchased...boy I have alot of developing to do

I am not sure why some of you guy's are regging hypen domains there is about 100 real decent poker domains casino..... 100 movie domains and so on

ie 3DLivegamble.com..... 3dpokerking.com also with the s........ there is so much around alot of domainers on other forum's are missing the boat and this is a big chance to have something what we had in the 90's when we regged smart and it paid of.

Also Spanish, portuguese 3DKeyword domains are there just use google to translate..........simples

i don't understand how sedo is go big - their site is BRUTAL and not really catered to people just 'searching'

so i was tipped off today to an industry SO BIG, that i just assumed it was all wrapped up and never bothered even searching ... until today.

The industry i'm talking about is searched 173 MILLION TIMES A MONTH!!... not counting perpheral searches... so let's safely say this industry is good for about 200 MILLION searches a month on google.

If you knew those numbers, you probably wouldn't even bother looking as well - you would have thought that someone - SOMEWHERE would have had enough foresight to scoop up everything that wasn't tied down... i mean twenty million people!!!!

so i start looking... and finding... and yes...
buying

broke as can be - but still buying... like i have said previously, this window is only so big and is closing more and more by the day... maybe once you see the names, you'll all understand.

I KNOW HentAY is misspelled there... but if you look - it is misspelled ALOT... matter of fact, the search term 'HENTAY 3d' is ALREADy searched almost 4,000 time a month... and HENTAY by itself - all misspelled and everything, STILL grabs 920,000 searches a month, so i'm not too crazy for scooping this.

Even if we touch to get info., speack to get it, or think and it comes... companies will still need a name of a website I believe, hence a domain name. And search engines are here to stay.
