Thats a great name. No I haven't yet but I'm trying to get DimensionPrinting to add an affiliate program to their company but no answer yet. I know Amazon has some 3d printer but not the big ones so we can make big commissions.

I know there lots of interested companies who wants a 3d printer but needs a better price.

Let's keep in touch on this one, I'm going to do some investigation over the coming weeks too.

    Glad you like the domain.

    Cheers,

    Leigh.

    @ BuzzBoss

    Any luck with DimensionPrinting?

I've been speaking to the manufacturers of the UP! 3D Printer in China but they won't do affiliate.

They want orders for a minimum of 10 printers off resellers! Nuts.

Really interesting thread. Admittadly I didn't get through all of it! It's great though. I love when I come up with potentially valuable twists on domain names. I'll keep the 3d thing in mind!

About 3D, yes its a good idea. There will be a lots of 3D stuffs in future. However I feel 3d will be suitable only for few sectors i.e., games, movies, etc.,

Help Required: When I enter it shows I dont have permission to enter that area. Is it because am not a premium member or am new to this forum?

3D is just a fad and will run it's course and be done, I don't see it being worth the investment.

3D domains have very little value if the keywords are not related to each other. I don't see any reason in registering several "3D domains" just because they contain a keyword which has high CPC rates, a real web marketer wouldn't find real value in them. 3DTV.com is awesome while not 3DMyCity.com worth only a little bit more than the registration fee - and that if someone actually is doing 3D business (cinema, or such) in the city.

I rarely see 3D domains going for real high values unless the keywords really fit each other, but it might worth a try if you don't find other names to market. Feel free to disagree with me but 3D is not as good as "i" and neither as "e".

I've noticed over the last 2 months that my 3delectrics.com and 3drtv.com have definitely been increasing in activity. Starting early next year I'm definitely going to be doing something with 3drtv.co.uk as I have seen an increasing amount of advertising for 3D here in the UK and with the London Olympics it seems the perfect time to go for it :).
