Will '3D' Revive The Domain Industry - 3D Domain Names (?)

anyone know of any good places to sell 3d domains ?

 

In the beginning of this thread I remember making a post saying that this domains will get you nothing. Didn't have to be a professional domainer to see that dictionary words with a stupid '3d' ending would not earn anyone a fortune.

i own a couple of 3d domains in major extensions, but i dont know.... have lost my faith on them.
From late 70`s listening the same things... 40yrs after 3d still sucks. Many directors analysed why this technology will always fail.

Personally i own one of the latest samsung 3d screens at 46`` and i can say that most times after 5min you give up as the headache starts.
They only 3d content i am enjoying is playing GT on ps3 close to the screen with a steering view camera only.

 

then you need to waite for Christmas ... that's when everyone opens their present.

For those that are ready to jump off - i think you'll regret it later - there's a market happening and it's getting closer and closer.... the visitors to my DomainNames3d.com site alone are up about 300% from last year... i get inquiries now every two-three weeks or so... even for names i don't even have (weird!)

.. but it's coming.

here's another little nugget for you all who are running out of patience - i am presently putting together a directory site for 3d Printing - it's called i-3DP.com - the site is live - you can see it now... but the point is - to make sure you look closely at the websites... i have about 50 sites listed in there presently and i'd say about 25-30% of them are 3d Domain Names that they are marketing and building around... BE PATIENT!!! ... we don't even have 3d websites yet - it's COMING!!.. i can understand renewals and trimming out the portfolio to be better and stronger, but for those of you who actually have some decent names, Relax a bit and expect some more time to have to pass... seriously - it's NOT going to be next week.

shit, I'm holding over 100 Holographic Names that will probably be for about 5-7 years time before i can even seriously consider selling them for what i believe they will be worth.

.. speaking of which, i actually just a new Holographic Name in dot co (did u guys hear about OnlineCasio.co selling for $100k? - nice sale)

Im glad I got out of the 3d name craze while I still could. I think I picked up 20 or so names and have let them all drop. Dumb investment for sure...

I guess its because you havent had any offers on your names, maybe its the quality of the names. A lot of people said the same about cloud names and they are regretting it now.

 

Youre making what? MAYBE $1000 MAX on 1 out of your 20 or so 3d names? Thats around $150 to just reg them for a year...say it goes to year two and then your sitting at $300 in just regs... Sorry but making a few hundred bucks a year off random names isnt appealing to me. Just saying im glad I got out.

 

Actually had various offers in the low x,xxx and an offer of $12K from a Canadian cable company which I turned down, you must be making big $$ to laugh that off
