What would you guys value 3DDatabase.com at?
I am trying to get it listed at the Future Trends auction, but some people have stated that I may have under valued it.
I am just looking for your opinion.

    Cheers

Vcize, the FT auction is organized by Stephen Douglas of Successclick, check their website for more info

I do like 3DDiscussions.com and that has some potential, the only think is the DD, from purely a visual point of view, it hurts the name a bit

3drecorders.net - I own the .COM of this name and I have had numerous offers in the last 2 years for it, but nothing worth selling for though. I know the owner of 3DRecorder.net and i have tried to help out by asking the buyers if they would be interested i the .net and they have declined, so it looks like the end-users really want the .com names? I would hold it though and see what happens with 3D recorders.

Movies3d.net - same as aabove, hold the name for a bit, I have also had offer on my 3DMovie.net, but nothing more than $250

Zorlock - 3DDatabase.com, I like this name and the fact its developed only increases the value. hard to really put a price on it but I would really just keep doing what you are doing with it and wait for a buyer to come along.

Me personally, I am not into any other extension for 3D outside of .COM.
I also am very leery about hyphenated domain names. Granted, I have 1 hyphenated 3D domain, but it was the only one available at the time and it is also the normal way its been referred to on the web (3D Bio-Printer) so I picked it up on a whim.

Still, double hyphens and hyphens on NON .com domains are a waste in my opinion.

Its just the way I see it.
    Cheers

Bio-printing technology to print out such a complex organ may need several years or even decades, but scientists have to print out the skin and spinal disc implant of life inside them. So far, humans have not received such a transplant, but the next two to five years there will be some printed to replace organs into human testing process.

Scientists say the technical difficulties are not the largest manufacturing organ itself, but the replication complex network of blood vessels within the organ, which played a nourishing vascular organ, organ to provide oxygen for the role.
technology for the 3D bio-printing has also become a hot emerging field

Out of interest, why are hyphens bad in a domain? Thanks.

There's no real technical reasons, I think its more to do with aesthetics and habit.
Most people nowadays are used to domains having words strung together. So when someone says "www dot domain name dot com" they automatically assume "www.domainname.com", they don't assume "www.domain-name.com" unless its spelled out that way (Like "www dot domain dash name dot com")

Yes that is true about the hyphens. I hear radio ads which say www dot name hyphen name dot com which is a bit of a mouthful. I usually remember the hyphen though once I've heard the ad.

I also think this is a problem with hyphens and direct type ins. If the average person types a name into Google, its less likely that they will type in a name with a hyphen. Its just not common place in how people search.
You still maintain the same key word structure as if you didnt have the hyphen but you are less likely to get the type in market (assuming that people didnt hear your advertisement on the radio and know to type in the hyphen).

    Just my thoughts.

You will most likely lose traffic to the non hyphen version of the name.

So the submissions for the "Future Trend" auction has closed. Does anyone know when the acceptance list will make it out?
I just waiting to see if any of mine got accepted. I have other deals outside of domains in the works so I dont have the time to dedicate to making these sales myself plus I may need a quick cash infusion so a sale may come in handy.

If anyone has any additional information, I would love to hear it.
    Cheers

I dont see why anyone would want to hide names that have been accepted.
I would try to gather as much support and as many eyes on the auction as possible if any of the names I submitted were accepted.

But that is just the way I see things.

I honestly doubt that they will meet the deadline, but if they do and got any domain accepted that would be awesome. I don't see either why someone will not disclose such info, it will only create some kind of buzz which is usually a good thing.
