Maybe, but you still made 2900% PROFIT :) that ain't a bad return on your $10 investment Well Done Mate.

Next year the domain could well end up being in the recycling bin worth a $1 or it could be worth a million $s but no-matter what the outcome you've made money and that's all that truley matters.

    Mike :)

I might have hung onto it. You made a profit so all good. I currently have a few 3D names. 3Dadaptor.com (British spelling) gets a little traffic and pays for itself.

Have a couple more listed on sedo. Like 3Dfeed.info

Should sell 3DLink.in to some Indian developer. Made a site but one of my first and pretty much junk. I think with the right development it could do well. Especially geo targeting for India users.

I have added some very nice 3d domain portfolios, including many great names belonging to Giles Coley. http://www.3d-portfolio.com/?page_id=47 Take a look and maybe you can find a premium name to invest in. Otherwise you are welcome to post your own links and domains for sale.

check out the 3d mapping app for the ipad: I like!
    http://www.cultofmac.com/new-mind-blowing-3d-mapping-technology-for-ipad-ces-2011/76046

also picked up another drop, my second German 3d domain, besides 3dMagazin.com:
DREI-D.COM Registered in 2006, dropped 2 months ago, and recently out of quarantine.
Following extensions taken: .de, .eu, .net, .org, .info and .at
I think the hyphen is ok, because otherwise it just looks like a nonsense word: dreid.
Not expecting to have landed a whale here, but it's worth the reg fee, am I right

You could always see if the un-hyphenated (Dreid.com) people want to buy it, I guess.

It a pity its not the .de because the the Germans mostly stick with their own cctld. The one thing it does have going for it is the Germans also love a hyphen.

If anyone is interested, drop me a PM, I am selling this whole lot for USD $250 (some great product names there)

Um, HTC EVO 3D, LG Thrill and Optimus 3D, Sharp Galapagos, Motorola MT810 and the Nintendo 3DS.
They maybe small, but their still glasses free 3D displays.

Also, you have to remember that Samsung (as well as all the others) have a lot of money tied up in research, development and production runs for the current crop of 3D display technology.

The 55 inch glasses free display they were proudly showing off recently, probably got a lot of people questioning whether it would be a good time to buy a new 3D TV now, or wait because the glasses free displays are just around the corner...
Questions like that can cost corporations a lot of money... By creating a little bit of FUD about release dates, insures that people will spend their cash this year, instead of next.

    Good luck too you to.

    Cheers
    James

Today I was inspired to register and play with http://streetart3d.com/, after seeing some very cool work (street art seems to be becoming a lot more mainstream these days as well). Check it out if you like this sorta thing, some cool images!
I recon the name works for the type of optical illusion 3d art as well as for stereo photos of street art in general.

Unfortunately, street art is not expected to overcome that pesky "viewing angle" impasse for the next 10 years either...or ever ; )
