Panasonic launching 3D IPTV services to bring 3D content through your internet connection (the latest Panasonic 3D tellys have built-in Wi-Fi).
This IPTV offering on 2011 Viera HDTVs will include collection of applications that expand on video streaming and two-way interactive features from gaming to social networking, and fitness programs.

By collaborating globally with third-party app developers, Panasonic VIERA Connect will provide consumers with a greater range of entertainment and information. In addition to popular video applications such as YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Video on DemandT, Viera Connect-enabled TVs will let consumers stay connected with family and friends via Skype video calling, Facebook , Twitter, or broadcast to the world via Ustream; keep in shape and monitor their wellness and fitness with apps from companies including Withings, Body Media, and Icon Health & Fitness; and access to a library of video games.


Online shopping - in 3D?
Another key feature in the launch of 3D IPTV will come in the world of online shopping, said Uehara. He hinted at a future service which will enable 3D TV-owners to walk round, browse and purchase from 'real' shops in 3D, from the comfort of their own home.
At the moment there is only one channel in the UK that shows 3D programmes, Sky 3D. However BT are also getting in on the act, with 3D content being made available on their IPTV (Internet Protocol TV), BT Vision. You will be able to download 3D movies, to be shown on your 3D TV. In fact, if you want to watch 3D films made by Universal NBC over the next twelve months, BT Vision is the place to do it.

The number of global IPTV subscribers will grow from 44 million at the end of 2010 to 111.5 million in 2014, a compound annual growth rate of 26%, according to the new IPTV Global Forecast from MRG.
The forecast shows that Europe will be the regional leader, with 42% of the worldwide IPTV subscriber total in 2014, maintaining its lead mostly because of the sheer number of large tier-1 service providers and continued strong IPTV growth in some countries.

the thing with entering into ft domains its not like normal buying you have tio understnd thats why its "future trend" you are buying into something that has to mature

that's some good advice, i picked up 3dledtv.co because i think 3d and led are things that will be big in the future, or at least a lot more common than they are now

 

I bought a 3d domain a few weeks ago. I have had a few visits here and there, however I am trying build up a new website before attempting to sell anything.

I picked out a name also a few weeks ago. I have to sell it now as I really need the cash...but I don't expect it to sell anytime soon. Wishful thinking I guess.
