cobraghostship: No offense, you just seem negative in everything you say. No matter what .co, 3d...
Registrars don't grab your wallet or credit card to charge you for a domain, it's your decision like any other purchase decisions you make in life don't blame them if you ended up with an unsold domain name or a lousy name. remember they are commercial entities and their main goal is profit.
be positive and patient, those are the first steps to make a sale.
    Good luck

I sell lots of names. 3d domains are the worst sellers.

That is great. I just think it's too early to sell them that fast and make money. why? I don't have anything 3D home yet, wait until it become mainstream.. and even if you get an offer it's most likely from another domainer not an end user.
    Good luck :)

3D is just now starting to get off the ground.
If you where trying to sell 3D domains before now, you where selling too early and you definitely did NOT realize the true potential that a GOOD 3D domain name could bring you.
I would wait another year or so till 3D really starts to hit its stride before you sell.

    Just my thought.
    Cheers

Just curious what names you are trying to sell and what methods you are using to try and sell them? (phone? Email? etc) Maybe the names aren't the problem..

I agree with AdamFL and Zorlock though, its too early to sell unless its lesser extension names like .org, .info etc

actually no its not that good m8
    1. its not time yet
    2. strip poker ? wheres this right now in 3d and you expect a quick sale?
    3. its a .net
    4. no market yet for this name so dont expect a quick sale
    5. any buzz on the net about 3d strip poker ?

stick to domains that things are happening for or if you are going to buy names like this then buy to hold on the chance it actually happens pref .com
trying to sell a name like that right now and expecting a quick sale is never going to happen

    Howdy friends,

I wish to humbly ask you if I have been smart or stupid ; )

I noticed that 3dMagazin (German for magazine) was taken for the following extensions:
3dMagazin.net, .eu, .ru, .hu and .de are all taken.
also 3d-Magazin was taken for .com, .net, .eu and .de
Magically, 3dMagazin.com was available, so I took it! I wonder if it had really never been regged, or allowed to expire (why would someone take the .net only?)
There is a German quarterly publication called 3d magazin, and I imagine other possible users...what do you guys think, can I flip this baby pretty easy, or have I merely acquired a junk name? (I do realize .de would have been much nicer, but I imagine .com is second best?)

Also: if anyone cares to comment, I am curious if you think the word "stereo" has a future in 3d language? 3d (web) Cameras people will have at home will feature 2 lenses: stereocameras. Anyone think this will be accepted into the lingo, or is the concept of stereo(scopy) outdated, dead terminology?

    Cheers mates!

In my opinion, you would have been better spent with the .DE version since it is German.
.COM will serve you well but I dont know about a quick flip (so to speak).

The fact that other extensions have already been taken is a good start for you. I say throw it out there and see what comes up.
Be prepared to have to wait a while however. There are more prominent .COM 3D names that are on the market right now.

Just my opinion. I could be completely wrong

    Cheers

The name was regged in 2004 and then dropped in 2006...

Just curious what people think of .US 3D names, are they worth keeping? Had a couple of low offers on the domain forums, but thats it? They are nice keywords though...

    3DPlayers.us
    3DRecorders.us
    3DRecorder.us
    3DNotebooks.us
    3DHomeCinemas.us
    3DHomeCinema.us
    3DCellPhone.us
    3DGamer.us
    3DGamers.us

Thanks for the info GilesColey, and for the feedback Zorlock.
I guess 3dmagazin was a flop the first time around, perhaps now the time is ripe!
For a "quick flip" I guess I have 51 weeks and change left before I need to re-reg...would consider a sale during this year "quick". GilesColey I think you have great .us domains, I really wonder how good the .us extension is though, don't some consider it "dead?" I grabbed auto3d.us and 3dauto.us, in the hope that becomes the popular term for no glasses 3d... Although these could be some of my better 3d domains, I have the least faith in them purely because of the extension. I really don't know enough about .us, but what I have read online has been rather discouraging.

    hey MrCurly,

Germans say "handy" instead of any other word for cellphone: Cellphone has 6k+ searches a month in de, handy has almost 1000 times more searches, so I see a problem with that one. But projector does get searched (33k searches a month) more than half as much as the german Projektor, with 60 k searches (probably helps its almost the same spelling vs totally different word). So I think 3d projectors is a lot better. But then again, Im a noob : )
